Mailei and Manny love to see the world. They got bit by the travel bug back in 1998 and 1989, respectively. They have been conducting the Indo Experience since 2004 but have been going to Indonesia since 1997. That's over 10 year's of Indo Experience that they are offering to you. Their experiences in Indonesia has been nothing but spectacular.

Mailei is a former model that started travelling back in the late 90's. She ventured to Twaiwan and Japan to do modeling shoots and fell in love with the experience. She loves the asian culture and recognizes that respect is vital while abroad. But don't let her great looks fool you. She's also got a brain. She has been published in the November 2009 (N5 V40) Journal for Research in Mathematics Education. She is currently teaching mathematics at a local community college and is enrolled in the Mathematics Masters program at San Diego State University.

Manny is a former professional bodyboarder and former California State Lifeguard. Manny is currently on his third passport. His professional bodyboarding career offered him to see the globe and is more than anxious to show you the world as he has seen. Manny is a true waterman. He still rips on the sponge and will even pick up a surfboard to get shacked at spots like Periscopes and Lakey Peak. Along with catching waves with you, Manny will grab his SPL Waterhousing with a Canon 20D inside and get the shot that will only happen in Indo!

Each spring, Manny and Mailei get the refresher CPR and First Aid courses offered by the Red Cross. They both understand that they are the first responders on the Indo Experience. Safety is priority number ONE!
